Online Banking Enrollment - Step by Step
Enrolling for online banking is fast and easy. Follow the six simple steps below.
1Go to farmingtonbankct.com
From the farmingtonbankct.com home page, go to the Login box and click Enroll Now
2Enter Your Account Information
You’ll need your email address, account type and account number. You will be asked to create a security question and answer that only you would know. Should you get locked out of your account, you will need to provide this information to our Call Center to verify your identify. You’ll also be asked for your Telebanc PIN which is the number you use to log in to your telephone banking account. If you have never logged in to this account or changed the password, your PIN is the last four digits of your social security number.
3Select an Access ID and Password
Pick a password that you will be able to remember. However, for security purposes you should stay away from obvious information such as birthdays, pet names and nicknames. Your password is case sensitive, must be a minimum of six characters long and must contain at least one letter and one number.
4Set-up Security for Your Account
After reconfirming your email address, you will see your assigned authentication image and phrase. Authentication images and phrases are used to prevent phishing scams. You may change your image and phrase once you're enrolled. If you should ever get to this page and you don’t see your image and phrase, do not continue. Immediately call our Customer Service center. For your added protection, you will also be asked to select and answer three challenge questions to be used to verify your identity if you log in from a computer or location that we don’t recognize. Pick something that you will remember and is not likely to change. Challenge question answers are case sensitive.
5Read and Accept Terms of Service
Read and accept our Online Banking Agreement and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) disclosure. Federal and State regulations require that you read and accept these terms and conditions.
6Enroll for eStatements
Your statements will be delivered right to your email inbox each month. If you’d like some time to think it over, choose “Ask Later” and we’ll prompt you again at a later time.
