You'll receive your free debit card on-the-spot when you open your account at any Farmington Bank branch. Choose your background picture from our image gallery at no charge. Access funds and pay for purchases from your Farmington Bank checking account quickly and easily. Your debit card allows you to shop in person or online, get cash 24/7, make one-time or recurring payments and access your accounts through ATMs worldwide. You’ll enjoy no finance charges, annual or monthly service fees, or transaction fees for debit card purchases.**

Overdraft Protection
Overdrafts can happen from time to time and we have protection options for you to choose from. With our Cashmate credit line, your transaction or cash withdrawal will be processed even if you don’t have the necessary funds in your account. Simply apply at your local branch or call 877-376-2265. Credit approval is required.
ATM and everyday debit card transactions are not included in the Overdraft Protection program described above. You will need to opt-in if you would like us to authorize and pay overdrafts on ATM and everyday debit card transactions. You can “opt-out" of this service at any time by calling 877-376-2265 or visiting your local branch office.
Direct Deposit
Sign up to receive direct deposit of funds from your paycheck, social security or other income sources into your Farmington Bank deposit account. Direct deposits are typically processed faster than paper checks allowing you quicker access to your money and saving you a trip to the bank. You can also conveniently arrange to have your deposits automatically divided between checking and savings accounts.
To start using Direct Deposit, print, fill out and provide a copy of our Direct Deposit Form to your employer or other depositors.
