Switching Made Easy

Changing banks has never been so easy. The Farmington Bank Simply Switch Kit will help you sort out all the essential details involved in switching banks.

The Farmington Bank 5 Step Switch:

1

Open a Farmington Bank checking account

Visit our Personal Checking page to learn which account is right for the way you live. Then just stop into any branch to open an account.

2

Set up direct deposit

Print out one Simply Switch My Direct Deposits Form for each direct depositor, fill them out, and give one form to each of them.

3

Establish automatic payments or transfers

Print out our Simply Switch My Automatic Payments Form. Give it to any company that is automatically withdrawing payments from your account. Our Automatic Payment Checklist can help you remember your payments.

4

Stop using your old account(s)

Make sure all checks and debits have cleared the account, automatic payments and/or transfers have stopped and direct deposit has started in your new account.

    5

    Close your old account(s)

Once your old account is inactive, provide your old bank with our Simply Close My Account Form. Withdraw any remaining funds or request a check to be mailed to you.
