  1. My most memorable customer experience is: when I received a call from a prospective municipal client affirming that they would be moving all of their business to Farmington Bank. We were one of several banks that bid on this sizable account and we had won. The client was so kind in expressing her eagerness to work with Farmington Bank and our team. It has been two years since then. They are a great customer and it is my pleasure to continue managing the relationship.
  2. My favorite Farmington Bank product or service is: Positive Pay. It's a fraud detection tool that helps protect my customer's accounts, and helps me to sleep better at night.
  3. When I’m not at work, I enjoy: spending time with my 8 year old son. He is the light of my life.
  4. You may be surprised to know: I've always dreamed of being an FBI agent.

  1. My most memorable customer experience is: when I met a dentist who was interested in starting his own practice but he couldn't figure out how he was going to finance it. After many meetings, we developed a plan that not only helped him achieve his goals but saved him money. His dental practice has been thriving for more than a decade.
  2. My favorite Farmington Bank product or service is: our Online Banking and Mobile App. I’m able to pay all my bills online and deposit checks remotely, which both saves me time and money on stamps.
  3. When I’m not at work, I enjoy: watching and coaching my kids who play baseball and softball.
  4. You may be surprised to know: I’ve played hockey my whole life and continue to play now.
  5. I’m currently saving for: my children’s college education (ages 12 and 14).

  1. My most memorable customer experience is: when I received an email from a client right after closing on her new home. Thanks to a special federal  grant program that Farmington Bank is part of, we were able to offer down payment assistance and help her with closing costs. Her message profusely thanked me for all the help and stated that having this home meant everything to her and her three children. I was proud to be a part of making that happen for her and her family.
  2. My favorite Farmington Bank product or service is: our CRA mortgage product. When applicable, it saves my clients money and helps to make them happy homeowners.
  3. When I’m not at work, I enjoy: hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
  4. You may be surprised to know: I am a big soccer fan. My favorite player is Robert Lewandowski who plays for Bayern in Munich.
  5. I’m currently saving for: a trip to Greece next year with my husband and friends.

  1. My most memorable customer experience is: I’ve had so many good experiences with customers that it’s really tough to pick the most memorable one. Recently I had a customer who was having difficulty with their remote deposit scanner. We had sent them a second scanner but were still experiencing the same challenge. After 40 minutes on the phone (and a patient customer), I was able to get the scanner to work. She could have been upset that it took time to resolve but instead, she was extremely happy and thanked me several times before hanging up. It really made me feel good that I was able to help her.
  2. My favorite Farmington Bank product or service is: our newly redesigned online banking site. It’s clean, user friendly and our customers seem to like it.
  3. When I’m not at work, I enjoy: physical fitness as I'm a very competitive person. The idea of being able to compete with myself brings me such joy - especially knowing the personal improvements and all around good health it brings to my life.
  4. You may be surprised to know: I am currently registered at the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy, where I start classes in mid-July.
  5. I’m currently saving for: a bigger place to live; somewhere that offers more outside space and freedom so that I can get a pet.

  1. My most memorable customer experience is: when I was underwriting a loan for a local non-profit that was interested in updating their facilities and expanding the scope of services they provide. It was really powerful to hear firsthand how passionate their management team was about furthering their mission, and how much appreciation they had for Farmington Bank’s involvement and support. They were very grateful for not only our flexibility while structuring the loan package, but our ability to move through the approval process quickly and efficiently. We truly became a vested partner for that organization.
  2. My favorite Farmington Bank product or service is: too hard to choose. It’s actually the wide-range of commercial financing product/solutions available to businesses, institutions and investors. And it’s not only the products and services – it’s the people and the amount of experience and expertise our commercial lending and credit teams bring to the table. We have the ability to provide customized solutions in a wide-range of industries, sectors and locations.
  3. When I’m not at work, I enjoy: being a mom! My three beautiful kids make my life fun, unpredictable and at times crazy. My schedule is full of soccer, swim lessons and dance recitals. And as busy as it gets sometimes, I love every minute of it.  
  4. You may be surprised to know: that I am a twin and our mom had us on her birthday. The three of us celebrate our birthdays on the same day which I always thought was really cool.

  1. My most memorable customer experience is: when a customer was leaving the branch and began to feel ill in the parking lot. She asked another customer who was walking by to go inside and get me. I headed outside and my staff called for an ambulance. Upon their arrival, they determined that she needed to go to the hospital, but she didn’t want to go. She finally agreed to go if I would ride along with her. Of course I obliged and it was at that moment that I realized she saw me as more than her personal banker. I was truly touched. I’m happy to report that she’s doing well today!
  2. My favorite Farmington Bank product or service is: our Mobile App because it's very convenient for our customers to transfer money, deposit checks, and turn their debit card off/on as often as they’d like.
  3. When I’m not at work, I enjoy: spending time at the beach.

  1. My most memorable customer experience is: when I assisted a customer whose husband passed away unexpectedly. I helped her sort out her personal banking needs. I also introduced her to Nate at Essex Financial who was able to really help her with her overall financial needs. She made significant strides in getting her life back on track and she is so grateful to myself, Nate and the staff in South Windsor. She is like family to us!

  1. My most memorable customer experience is: when a longtime customer of the Bank was no longer able to drive on her own but needed to accomplish a few specific tasks with the bank. Getting to a branch was very tough for her and costly. I graciously volunteered to go to her home so that her banking needs could be taken care of. I’ve never experienced such praise from anyone in my career. I was overwhelmed with happiness knowing I was able to fulfill her wishes and bring a smile to her face during tough times. We still keep in touch to this day.
  2. My favorite Farmington Bank product or service is: our Home Equity Line of Credit because there’s no better feeling knowing you were able to help people reach new opportunities.
  3. When I’m not at work, I enjoy: taking spontaneous adventures with my pup!

  1. My most memorable customer experience is: when I was able to redesign a business’s cash management program affording them substantial cost savings and significant improvements in efficiency. So much so that they were able to take the savings and fund a holiday party for their entire staff and I was invited.
  2. My favorite Farmington Bank product or service is: Positive Pay. In light of all of the fraud occurring in the financial sector, Positive Pay is one of the many ways I can help businesses protect their most valuable asset - their cash.
  3. When I’m not at work, I enjoy: my second job as a mom! I also enjoy cooking, boating and reading a good book.
  4. You may be surprised to know: I’ve worked for the same leader, currently our bank president, my entire banking career. The bank name changed six times although I only changed employers twice.   
  5. I’m currently saving for: college for my children, ages 8 and 11.

  1. My most memorable customer experience is: when I was referred to an employee of an existing customer. Her husband operated an automobile repair business in rented space. They always wanted to buy the property but were not sure anyone would provide them a loan. Working with the Borrower, their CPA’s and attorney we were able to put together financing that met their needs and they purchased the property. It was a team effort at Farmington Bank as they needed guidance on the process, so we walked them through all facets of the underwriting, evaluation and closing process. The business is thriving and the financing helped them to control their own destiny.
  2. My favorite Farmington Bank product or service is: Small Business Lending. This is what I do every day. I meet with new and existing customers of the Bank and provide information and guidance for their borrowing needs. I'm working with owners who have invested their money, time and lives to make a success, and many times I get to help.
  3. When I’m not at work, I enjoy: spending time with family and boating. We facetime everyday with our two (soon to be three) grandchildren in North Carolina.
  4. You may be surprised to know: I’m a home theater/audio buff, and can wire any system up.
  5. I’m currently saving for: retirement.

  1. My most memorable customer experience is: from a long time ago, when I worked in the Main Office as the Assistant Manager. I had a regular customer who would come to see me just to shake my hand and say hello. He was an elderly gentleman and appreciated the fact that I have a firm handshake. He once said to me that my father must have taught me the right way to shake hands. I asked him “what makes you think it wasn’t my mother?”
  2. My favorite Farmington Bank product or service is: our Mobile App. I am able to transfer easily from accounts and boost my daughter’s account when ever needed!
  3. When I’m not at work, I enjoy: cooking. Growing up in an Italian family we learned that food=love. I love to cook for those I love and those I like too!
  4. You may be surprised to know: my longtime dream is to own my own mini golf and activity center. Indoor and outdoor mini golf, go carts, arcade, party rooms and a quesadilla bar too. "Maybe I should apply for a business loan..."

  1. My most memorable customer experience is: from several years ago when I was a part-time teller. There was a customer who liked to split her paycheck into a few different accounts and get a specific breakdown for her cash back. I quickly memorized how she wanted everything and she appreciated it so much that she started coming in only on days I was scheduled to work so that I could process her transaction. Instead of spending her time in the bank explaining the breakdown, we were able to chat about how our weeks were going.
  2. My favorite Farmington Bank product or service is: Mobile Wallet for sure. With two small kids, my once small and organized handbag is now oversized and always full of snacks and toys - not the easiest thing to carry through a store or dig through to find my wallet. Now all I need to take in to a store is my phone!
  3. When I’m not at work, I enjoy: spending time with my family, taking our dog on hikes and cooking.
  4. You may be surprised to know: I love home improvement projects. It’s so satisfying to see the before-and-after on something that you did yourself. Plus I like using power tools!
  5. I’m currently saving for: my son and daughter’s college educations.

  1. My most memorable customer experience is: I don't have a lot of direct customer interaction in my current position. However, recently, one of our customers stopped me at my local grocery store to let me know what a good job the Bank does to meet all of her cash management needs. I happily passed that on to our commercial team. It feels good to be associated with such a well-respected bank. 
  2. My favorite Farmington Bank product or service is: our mobile banking app. As the mother of two teens (one who is a busy high school student), I love being able to transfer money to his account in seconds when he sends the text, “Momma, can you transfer money for…?”
  3. When I’m not at work, I enjoy: spending as much time with my family as possible. We're constantly on the go, between football, soccer, wrestling, basketball, not to mention other school-related events. We often feel rushed, but I'm enjoying it as much as possible, because they really do grow up too fast.
  4. You may be surprised to know:  I've spent my entire career at Farmington Bank. I joined the Bank after my first year in college. My experience that summer led me to change my major to economics and finance. As graduation approached, I reached out to the Bank to see what full-time positions were available. The rest is history. This Bank has seen me through my engagement, marriage, two kids, three homes, and two dogs.
  5. I’m currently saving for: a family trip to Hawaii to celebrate my oldest son’s graduation and, of course, college for the kids.

  1. My most memorable customer experience is: when I was working in our first Westfarms location we had a customer that would bring in photo albums to show the whole team pictures of his beautiful late wife, who you could tell he missed dearly. In showing us the photos he would always tell us stories about their life together. He was a farm boy, she was a city gal and he knew the moment he met her that he was going to marry her. He also told us stories about being a dentist at one of the Manhattan Project locations during World War II. This customer was so memorable to me because he was so genuine, open, and the best story teller. He made us feel like family, and I hope we did the same for him.  
  2. My favorite Farmington Bank product or service is: Bill Pay. I used to keep track of 10-15 log-in credentials for all the different sites I needed to pay my bills electronically and I would spend at least an hour a week paying bills. Once I saw a demonstration for Bill Pay, I decided to give it a try and I’ve never looked back. It allows you to pay all your bills from one location. You can have your eStatements load directly into Bill Pay (for participating merchants), and you can set up future payments, so you can plan all your bills for the month in just one day. Paying bills now takes me 15 minutes.
  3. When I’m not at work, I enjoy: traveling. For the past few years I’ve traveled at least three times a year and each year I try to make one of those trips to a new place I haven’t  been before. Next year I am hoping to go to Europe for the first time, which has been a dream of mine.
  4. You may be surprised to know: before I began working at Farmington Bank, I was considering a career as a tattoo artist. I can draw pretty well and I have a great appreciation for tattoos. While I was contemplating the tattooing career, a friend recommended I apply for a job at Farmington Bank to hold me over until I decided what I wanted to do. Thirteen years later I am still at the Bank because I fell in love with the banking industry and the people.
  5. I’m currently saving for: a new home. Right now is the perfect time to buy and I would love to buy a home in Burlington, Southington or West Hartford.

My most memorable customer experience is: when I first transitioned from the front line to the back office I gave a couple customers who I worked closely with my new direct line in the event they needed anything. Periodically I would receive calls and assist them with issues they were having or point them to the correct channel.  
  2. My favorite Farmington Bank product or service is: Simple Checking. The product speaks for itself: it’s a no hassle, easy to understand product which is exactly what I want and need!
  3. When I’m not at work, I enjoy: playing golf, spending time with my family and being outside!

  1. My most memorable customer experience is: from a while ago, when I was working in a branch. We had a checking campaign where new customers who opened an account received a gift card. There was a new employee at the gym I went to who was from out of state, so I asked him to open an account with Farmington Bank. His schedule didn’t really allow him to get to the branch, so I brought his paperwork to open the account. He was so grateful and amazed that I took time out of my day to open his account, and said he had never received such great customer service and that his old bank would have never done such a thing.
  2. My favorite Farmington Bank product or service is: mobile deposit, it’s very convenient.
  3. When I’m not at work, I enjoy: spending time with friends and my dog, being at the gym, watching movies, or sleeping.
  4. You may be surprised to know: I love the summer and the ocean but I don’t go in the water because I can’t swim. I’m not scared of many things, but am terrified of snakes and last summer while in Bulgaria I actually flew a small plane. The list is long, but I’ll stop here.
  5. I’m currently saving for: my first house, and trips back to Bulgaria and Napa Valley.
