Per the USA Patriot Act, we must verify the identity of any person and/or business opening an account. To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies every customer. What this means for you: In order for us to consider your request, any person authorized to sign on the new account will be required to provide the following information at account opening. We will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents. This information will be requested by a Farmington Bank Service Representative once your application has been received.
