Financial responsibility starts with education.

At Farmington Bank, we enhance your financial well-being with free workshops that address important money matters, catering presentations to schools and local organizations.

Education serves as the foundation for success

Your financial health depends on the decisions you make about spending, saving and investing your money. It's a good idea to be knowledgeable on all products and services. Farmington Bank's Financial Education Team will visit your school or organization to teach financial workshops on topics such as saving, budgeting, borrowing and money management. Our workshops are tailored to various age groups to help individuals understand the options and costs associated with money.

For more information or to arrange a workshop, contact Community Development Manager, Chris Traczyk.

Junior Achievement

To promote financial education and empowerment, Farmington Bank partners with Junior Achievement and hosts "JA in a Day," a full-day economic education program for students in Kindergarten to Grade 5. Each year, dozens of Farmington Bank professionals teach financial literacy to hundreds of students in the classroom at a local elementary school.

Junior Achievement's purpose is to educate and inspire young people to value free enterprise and understand business and economics to improve the quality of their lives. Volunteers use their personal experiences to make the Junior Achievement curricula practical and realistic.
